The Valdespino house introduced its Jeres and Brandies in Cuba from colonial times, enjoying great prestige and notable presence in this market. In 1940, from a customer who was supplied with boots from Jerez, who in turn owned a small distillery of Ron, a small selection of boots containing rum of high purity were selected and imported. To arrive at Jerez said boots formed a very old rum hearth of familiar consumption.
Our Old Rum has an average age of 20 years and has been aged in Centennial Boots that contained Oloroso of the oldest Solares of Valdespino.
