When this magnificent wine was acquired in 1927 it was already an amontillado of the highest quality and one of the oldest in the Marco de Jerez, from the prefiloxeric soleras of the Conde De Aldama. Its origin of Manzanilla and biological aging and its subsequent oxidative aging for decades, have contributed some sharp, iodized nuances, to flower and very balanced nuts, which make this venarable a unique jewel of a winery, which only Sanlúcar can offer.
Color: Dark amber, bright.
Nose: Very high aromatic intensity, handkerchief wine, a perfume.
Mouth: Concentration, saline, a different story each time it reaches the mouth. The enveloping and elegant complexity that a generous wine can reach. Eternal persistence
Gastronomy
Harmonies: Cured cheeses, stews and game roasts, smoked. Intense dishes in flavor.
